The museum is located in downtown San Antonio, a short distance from the Alamo and the Riverwalk, in HemisFair Park beneath the Tower of the Americas and adjacent to the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center.

Exhibit Floor
The 50,000-square-foot Exhibit Floor is a unique setting for your next event — formal, casual or anywhere in between. It offers an intriguing atmosphere including exhibits featuring more than 20 Texas ethnic groups and one or more traveling exhibits on a wide variety of subjects. Capacity: 1,000 standing, 450 seated.
The Dome Show Theater, located in the center of the Exhibit Floor, has multiple screens that can be used for video, slide, or PowerPoint projection.
Back 40
The Back 40 is a one-of-a-kind site! This one-acre area is ideal for your next fiesta, Texas hoe-down, or company picnic. It showcases a log house, adobe house, barn, fort headquarters, one-room schoolhouse, windmill, and grape arbor stage — a Texas country setting right downtown.
Outdoor Verandas and Patios
The perfect outdoor spaces for groups larger than 1,000, the verandas and patios offer a superb setting for either a casual barbeque or an elegant seated dinner.
Connally Conference Center
Equipped for audiovisual presentations, the center can be set up theater-style or with tables. This well-appointed room is just right for meetings, retreats, and luncheons. Capacity: 110.
Auditorium
Equipped for audiovisual presentations, the auditorium permits a variety of setups. Capacity: 140.
Classrooms
Rooms are available for seminars, testing, or mini courses. Capacity: 25-50.
