Birthday Parties
UTSA's Institute of Texan Cultures is a great place to host your child's next birthday party!
Birthday parties are hosted at the museum from 1-3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. The birthday party package may be reserved for $200, plus a $50 nonrefundable deposit. You may reserve the party room by calling our special events team at (210) 458-2275. You can also e-mail our events team.
Your birthday party will include:
* A private room in the Lower Gallery for your birthday celebration
* A unique party favor for the birthday boy or birthday girl
* Private puppet show for your guests in the Bluebonnet Puppet Theater
* A make-and-take activity
* Admission for 10 children and their parents to the museum.
Considerations:
We ask that you deliver the $50 nonrefundable deposit at least two weeks prior to the scheduled birthday party. UTSA's Institute of Texan Cultures accepts cash, personal checks, corporate checks, and credit cards (we regret that we cannot accept American Express).
* Additional children may attend the party at a cost of $5 each.

Additional adult guests are asked to pay standard ITC admission fees.
* You are invited to provide food, beverages, and decorations for your birthday
party.
Food and drink are subject to the approval of the special events team.
* Alcohol is not permitted.
* We encourage you to decorate the party room with balloons, but ask that no
confetti, glitter, or silly string be used to decorate. Also, balloons must be kept
in the party room; they are not permitted on our exhibit floor.
* You may begin decorating at 12:30 p.m. on the day of your birthday party.
We ask
that clean-up be completed no later than 3:30 p.m.
* Complimentary parking is available for museum guests and party partipants
as space permits.
