Texans One and All: English, Irish, Scottish The English, Irish, and Scottish components of the museum's flagship Texans One and All exhibit comprise one of the most recently updated areas of the Exhibit Floor. An integral part of Texans One and All, English, Irish, Scottish displays have been in the museum since the Institute of Texan Cultures opened as the Texas State Exhibits Building at HemisFair 1968. The extensive enhancement to the Texans One and All: English, Irish, Scottish exhibit features completely rewritten textual components, new photographs and artifacts, giant screens with first-person actors portraying historical Texas characters, interactive kiosks with valuable supplementary data, and much more. The English, Irish, and Scottish settlers and their descendants have been important and influential citizens in the history of Texas. They have left an enduring mark on the Texas landscape and have participated in some of the most important events in Texas history.
